Pre/Post Natal Care & Pediatric Programs
Pre-natal care ensures a healthy pregnancy and reduces risks for mother and baby, while post-natal care supports recovery and newborn well-being after birth.
Pre-Natal (Antenatal) Care
We offer OB/GYN once per month on site.
An OB-GYN is a medical doctor specializing in both pregnancy care and female reproductive health, combining obstetrics and gynecology.
Overview
An OB-GYN (obstetrician-gynecologist) is a physician trained to manage pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care (obstetrics) as well as general female reproductive health including the uterus, ovaries, vagina, and breasts (gynecology)
Pre-natal care refers to healthcare provided before birth to monitor and support the health of both mother and baby. It ideally begins at least three months before conception and continues throughout pregnancy
Key components include:
Regular medical check-ups: Monitoring maternal blood pressure, weight, and fetal growth to detect complications early
Referrals for screenings and tests: Blood tests, ultrasounds, and screenings for gestational diabetes, infections, and genetic conditions
Nutrition and supplements: Guidance on a balanced diet, folic acid, iron, and other essential nutrients
Education and counseling: Preparing parents for labor, delivery, and newborn care, including breastfeeding and postpartum recovery
Mental health support: Addressing stress, anxiety, and emotional well-being during pregnancy
Post-Natal (Postpartum) Care
Post-natal care begins immediately after birth and continues for the first six to eight weeks. Its purpose is to ensure the health and recovery of the mother and the newborn.
Key components include:
Maternal recovery: Monitoring for postpartum hemorrhage, infections, and complications; supporting physical and emotional recovery
Newborn care: Assessing growth, administering vaccinations, and monitoring for infections or congenital conditions
Breastfeeding support: Encouraging early initiation within the first hour and providing guidance on feeding techniques
Nutrition and counseling: Advising mothers on diet, hydration, and self-care to promote healing and energy for childcare
Mental health screening: Detecting postpartum depression or anxiety and providing appropriate interventions

Health Screening Day
As summer winds down and the school year approaches, back-to-school prep often focuses on new backpacks, sharpened pencils, and class schedules. But one of the most important steps you can take to set your child up for a successful year is making sure their health is in check. Annual health screenings aren’t just about checking a box—they play a crucial role in catching developmental concerns early, updating vaccinations, and ensuring your child is physically and mentally ready to learn.
From vision and hearing checks to routine physicals and immunizations, these screenings help schools maintain a safe environment and enable kids to stay focused, energized, and healthy.
What’s included in a pediatric physical exam:
- Growth and development assessment to track milestones and identify any delays
- Vitals check including height, weight, and blood pressure
- Musculoskeletal screening to evaluate strength, flexibility, and injury risk for sports participation
- Discussion of chronic conditions or new health concerns, such as asthma, allergies, or mental health issues
Vision screening
Clear vision plays a major role in your child’s academic success. From reading the whiteboard to focusing on books and digital screens, undetected vision problems can quickly lead to frustration, poor performance, or behavioral issues in the classroom. That’s why routine vision screenings are a vital part of your child’s back-to-school health prep.
What’s tested during a vision screening:
- Visual acuity (near and far) to assess how clearly your child sees at different distances
- Color vision and depth perception (depending on age and school requirements)
Hearing test
Good hearing is essential for speech development, communication, and learning, especially in noisy classroom environments where kids need to follow directions and engage in group activities. Even mild or partial hearing loss can go unnoticed but still have a significant impact on a child’s ability to participate, stay focused, and keep up with their peers.
Immunization check
Vaccinations are a critical part of keeping your child—and their school community—healthy and protected from preventable diseases. These routine vaccines help prevent outbreaks of illnesses that can spread quickly in classrooms and school sports environments. Most schools require proof of up-to-date immunizations for enrollment, making it essential to check your child’s vaccine record before the school year begins.
Mental and behavioral health check-in
Back-to-school season isn’t just about physical health—your child’s emotional and mental well-being plays a huge role in how well they adjust, focus, and thrive in the classroom. Conditions like anxiety, ADHD, and social stress can affect attendance, academic performance, peer relationships, and even physical health.
Dental and oral health check
Oral health is an essential—but often overlooked—part of a child’s overall wellness. Untreated cavities, gum issues, or tooth pain can lead to missed school days, trouble eating or speaking, and difficulty concentrating in class. By making dental care part of your back-to-school routine, you help your child start the year free of discomfort and ready to learn.
Well Baby Program
The purpose of this program is to ensure infants and toddlers are meeting their developmental milestones. An age specific physical examination is performed, and body measurements are obtained and recorded on WHO growth chart. The provider offers education around nutrition, injury prevention, behavior, and environmental health.
Immunizations are given with parental consent.
Potential side effects of immunizations are discussed with parents and appointment time given for next visit.
It provides parents and caregivers an opportunity to express concerns.
The infant will see MD for further assessment for 9 month and 18-month check.

Car Seat Safety
The Car Seat Safety Program is designed to help parents and caregivers properly install and use child safety seats, reducing the risk of injury in car accidents. Certified child passenger safety technicians provide guidance on seat selection, installation, and proper use according to the child’s age, weight, and height.
Infant Massage
Infant massage is a gentle, nurturing practice that promotes bonding, physical health, and emotional development for babies and caregivers.
Benefits of Infant Massage
Infant massage offers a wide range of benefits for both babies and parents. For babies, it can improve sleep quality, reduce stress and irritability, aid digestion, relieve colic and gas, enhance muscle tone, and boost immune function. It also supports sensory and motor development, body awareness, and overall relaxation
For parents, massage helps build confidence, strengthen emotional bonds, reduce stress, and improve non-verbal communication with their baby.
