The organization values a close working relationship with all stakeholders including the public and will conduct Board business in an open and transparent manner. The Board may exercise its right to hold “in camera” or special meetings that will not be open to the public where it determines it is in the best interests of the organization to do so.

Debbie has been living in Ignace since 1995, where she raised her children who have recently introduced her to the joys of being a grandma.  She had been employed at Ignace School for twenty five years and prior to that, has a background in banking/finance. When time allows, Debbie enjoys outdoor adventures on the water as well as hiking through trails with her husband and two dogs.  Traveling to various countries is also a passion that she hopes to do more of in future retirement.  “I am excited to be a part of the MBCHC Board with such a wonderful cross section of individuals.  I am hopeful that I can be a valuable contributor to the Board.  My professional experiences have been geared toward making my community a better place and forging partnerships.  Being on the MBCHC allows me to continue to affect positive change in Ignace”. Debbie started her volunteer service in January 2023 and has most recently taken on the role as President.

Greg Waldock grew up in Uxbridge Ontario where he graduated High school. Greg pursued a university degree in Thunder Bay Ontario at Lakehead University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts. After making connections in the productions industry, he went on to start WaCu Productions in 2006 and hasn’t looked back since. He explains that he is an artist at heart and love all forms of artistic expression. I paint, play several instruments, and of course have a passion for photography and cinematography. My favorite photographic subjects are people and nature. When I combine these two I am in my element. Greg has been a board member since October 2024 first beginning his volunteer service as a Director and has since taken on the role of Vice President.

Tim moved to Ignace in 2016 with his family (wife Chelsea and their children Titus and Morgan) to take on the pastorate at New Life Church-Ignace. Outside of his 17 years of ministry experience Tim has a varied work history having spent 10+ years in the Army Reserves as an Artilleryman, been an Educational Assistant in a K-12 school, a farm hand, and worked for a small town bakery (both as an baker’s assistant and as a delivery driver). He holds a B.A. in Youth Ministries from Horizon College and Seminary (2007), and has been an Ordained Minister with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada since 2012. After moving to Ignace, he has spent time on the Ignace Public Library board, the Ignace Otters Snowmobile Club board, is a member of the Healthy Community Working Group, and enjoys volunteering to help with as many community events as he has time and the ability to.

Having grown up on the prairies as a farm kid and then spending his years in ministry, (largely in small rural towns around Manitoba and now NW Ontario) he and his family enjoy living in Ignace and all the opportunities that living in a small town provides. A great appreciation for the outdoors, including a love of hiking, kayaking, snowshoeing, and camping as hobbies make the location of Ignace ideal for them.

While he was growing up Tim’s parents taught him the value of serving your community in whatever way you can. That is something that he still believe today. He believes that if you do your part and help where you can, you will see that community become stronger for everyone. It is his privilege to serve the community in the small ways that he is able.
